Alberto earned his Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Cagliari in 2016, focusing on the development of functional organic molecules with potential applications in pharmaceuticals and advanced materials.

Following a research fellowship at Politecnico di Torino, he pursued a PhD in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology, completed in 2023, where his work centered on graphene-based membranes for the selective capture and separation of CO₂ from industrial flue gases.

After a post-doctoral research position at the Italian Institute of Technology, where he worked on vitrimeric resins, Alberto joined MAT3D as a Technology Specialist in August 2025.
