Marco Ferrante earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2021. He continued his academic journey at the same university, completing his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Biomechanics in 2024.

His Master’s thesis, developed over the course of his final year, focused on the synthesis and characterization of photo-crosslinkable hydrogels for applications in wearable sensing. During this period, he deepened his study of various materials used in the synthesis of photo-crosslinkable polymers, optimizing their composition to achieve the desired physical and mechanical properties. This work allowed him to consolidate and refine his technical and experimental expertise in the field.

In September 2024, he began his professional career at the start-up Mat3D S.r.l., where he was hired as a Technology Specialist.
